Lalit Narayan Mithila University, Darbhanga

The Lalit Narayan Mithila established under an ordinance in 1972 in Darbhanga, Mithilanchal. The campus of this beautiful university is about more than 200 acres. All the modern facilities and supports are available for the students and faculties. More than 400 faculties to teach all the courses to the students. The university conduct various courses including undergraduate and postgraduate, job-oriented courses for the students through affiliate colleges and faculties. The university offers hostel for women. This university is one of the popular university in Bihar providing higher education to the students.

This university was renamed in 1975 as Lalit Narayan Mithila University and in 1986, Lalit Narayan Mithila University got recognition from UGC under section 12(A) of the UGC act.
