Schools of Excellence

There are two school of excellence, though very much part of the institute are externally funded :

Academic Programmes
IIT Delhi has one of the best undergraduate programs including the four years Bachelor of Technology program, five years Dual Degree Bachelor-cum-Master of Technology program and an Integrated Master of Technology Program. Also, IIT Delhi offers two year postgraduate level programs like Master of Technology, Master of Science, Master of Science (Research), Master of Business Administration, Master of Design (Industrial Design) and a Ph.D. program.

Undergraduate Programs
IIT Delhi offers a Bachelor of Technology in 9 different major areas that include Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering (Power), Engineering Physics, Production and Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Textile Technology. The dual degree B.Tech-cum-M.Tech program is offered in Biochemical and Bio-Technology, Chemical Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering and Electrical Engineering. The integrated M.Tech program is only offered in Mathematics and Computing.

Post-Graduate Programs
The institute offers post graduate level programs in all the above mentioned department of Engineering with several inter-disciplinary programs.
