Aligarh Muslim University - Uttar Pradesh

Established in 1885 by Sir Syed Ahmed Khan it was one of the few higher education centers of British era, set up with the objective of educating the Muslim into western sciences and modern education during the glum period of British sovereign rule prior to independence.

Even today, after more then 260 years of Indian Independence, the University retains, its fame and glory all over the globe as a highly reputed and revered, residential academic Institute of India.

Situated in Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh India, this secular university embraces people from all castes, creed and religion situated at a distance of 130 Km South East of Delhi. Originally the college was affiliated by the Calcutta University, however later it was transferred to Allahabad University. The university produced many high ranking first grade academicians who contributed substantially to our countries major growth in diverse fields. With more then 5000 promising students today, the institute offers 280 courses in both traditional and trendy branches of learning and Elucidate knowledge to many thirsty minds.
